Spring break is a time of family vacations to sunny beaches. While the Krueger family does go to a sunny, hot and sandy spots it’s for a different reason. As a family, they join with a group of about 100 willing people to build homes for those less fortunate. For the last 3 years Matthew, his wife and three daughters spend spring breaks mixing concrete, framing, stucco and building relationships with the locals. After the catastrophic Joplin tornado that struck Joplin, Missouri, Brian Krueger was moved to put together a team of volunteers (mainly fathers and sons) to help those affected to put the pieces back together.
Since its first year, Matthew Krueger has been volunteering with The Turkey Trot Louisville. This free 5k community run supports the Local Sister Carmen Center in Lafayette. By Krueger is also proud to be a sponsor of this event.
For the last decade Brian Krueger has participated in the MS150 bike race to raise money for MS research. Brian has rallied with 30 other “Conehead” team members to ride and fundraise for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He passionately supports this cause each year with the goal of ending MS in our generation.
